Lt. Governor Speaks At Brown Tree Snake Conference
Lt. Governor Michael W. Cruz, M.D. stands before an image of the brown tree snake at the Brown Tree Snake Technical Meeting this morning. Lt. Governor Cruz gave opening remarks to officials from the U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Guam Department of Agriculture . The Brown Tree Snake Technical Meeting is part of a three-day conference hosted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife and the Guam Department of Agriculture. The conference is being held to exhibit a comprehensive overview of research and control projects to address the challenges of the brown tree snake as well as the recovery of Guam’s endangered species.
